The owners are very gracious hosts. Accommodating my husband and I at the last minute for a fabulous getaway. Day one as we pulled up the drive we were greeted by a doe and fawn by the garage. Day two a swan swam and fed in front of the cottage all day. The morning of day three there were a total of six swans swimming and feeding. I still cant believe it. It was spectacular! The night of day three my husband was sitting on the front deck enjoying a glass of wine from the samples from local vineyards and heard rustling and looked toward the beach and a deer walked up to the waters edge for a drink. Shortly after the appeared a fox taking a short cut from under the deck also showed up for a drink. I guess everyone was thirsty that evening. Walking on the beach there are many petoskey stones to start a collection or add to the collection on the mantle. I highly recommend this home. Very clean and homey for 2 or for 6. We also enjoyed a small bonfire on the beach one night. Thank You so much for a relaxing vacation.
