Fifteen people ages 7 - 60-something stayed in this Home away From Home for a week last summer and had the time of our lives! We were amazed at the conveniences we found - soap, lotions, a fully equipped kitchen complete with utensils, dishes, and even baking soda when we made cookies! The kids loved making S'Mores over the fire pit and we cooked at least twice a day. "Our" home gave us privacy but was just minutes away from a grocery store and our rafting trips! We have pictures of the eagle we spotted across the river and listened to the soft owl hoots at night. After a day filled with activities, we sat on the patio overlooking the river and relived the day's experiences.
Although we did not watch much television, Whale Wars was a family favorite and was enjoyed by all on the large-screen TV.
The two refrigerators kept all of our perishables and being able to do laundry was a big plus. In addition, we all enjoyed the fact that there were beautiful bathrooms to accommodate such a large group, giving everyone the privacy they needed, including roomy bedrooms.
We literally felt that we were at home with everything we needed inside the nearest closet or drawer. Bud came and made sure we had everything we needed and also gave us 2 invaluable suggestions: white water rafting (an experience I'll never forget and still brag about) and horseback riding at Mill Iron Ranch. .
We Loved our stay at Bud's home and give it our highest recommendation on all counts (Review from FlipKey)
