Sister's Getaway

This was a trip that my sister, daughter and I had planned for a year so we had very high expectations for our adventure to Paris and our stay at "Juliette" met and exceeded every one. We arrived tired after a long flight but our "car & driver" were waiting for us, arranged by our Paris, Manager, David, to be delivered to the front door of our charming apartment. Met by another David, he was to show us all the amentities of "Juliette". I felt like I had already been there due to the lovely pictures we had seen on the web site. The bathrooms were even better than the photos...all was ready & clean for our arrival. The livingroom provided seating and eating space that was charming, the kitchen had been cleverly divided on each side of the living space with everything needed for cooking and eating (we ate but didn't cook). Every morning Sis walked to our wonderful bakery down the block, returning with crossiants, brioche and lovely, small quiches. As we sat each morning in front of the window overlooking Rue des Deux Pon with our French coffee, goodies and La vie en Rose playing on the CD player that is provided for guest. Atmosphere over the top!. Our last night we watched the original Sabrina and delighted in seeing sights we had seen in Paris that day.
Our trip actually began long before getting to Paris..our first contact was with the owner/Michelle by phone, she was so helpful and had information on every question we had. Our communications by phone and email aliveated our concerns about; were would we stay, how to see all that Paris has to offer, etc. She sent to us a complete package that explained how we would get the keys, who we would contact in Paris, information about Ile St. Louis and the neighborhood, sightseeing musts, eating recommendations, metro information (two blocks away)...on and on...it was all there to decipher. Two of our favorite "Juliette" restaurant recommendations were L'Orangerie on Ile St. Louis and walking to our Left Bank neighborhood to the fabulous Le Reminet..both were outstanding. So many more places than we had time to try. The apartment "Juliette" sleeps 6 and would be lovely for a family but it is the very best for a "girl's stay"! We would recommend the apartment as a way to feel like a Parisian living in Paris and not as a tourist. Wonderful experience from beginning to the end of our stay and so glad to have found "Juliette" and owner/Michelle.
