The cottage is located on the shores of Lake Michigan in a secluded spot on our four acre property in the center of the Little Point Sable Association. The cottage is located away from the main house with it’s own private driveway and parking area. Enjoy the view of the lake from the Living Room, Dining Room and Screen Porch. The beach is just a short walk down a private path. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets, casual strolls or just relax soaking up the sun on our 220’ of private beach. The association’s Tennis Courts, Play Ground, Crolf Course and Church are available to all guests.

Beautiful Lake Michigan Getaway

We found this cottage to be the perfect getaway destination . We're a family of five and have been there twice now. The house is cozy and immaculate; it had everything we needed and the owners were immediately responsive to all questions and concerns which were few. The setting is gorgeous. The view is Lake Michigan and its sandy shore, from which you are only a stone's throw away. It is also just a short walk from tennis courts, a "crolf" course and wooded hiking trails. There are also many activities to take advantage of in nearby towns ~ the Silver Lake dunes, dune scooters, horseback riding and berry picking to name just a few. This is one of the best places we have been as a family to truly relax, decompress and enjoy one another. I would recommend it highly to anyone and we will certainly be back.
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

very nice cottage, very tastefully decorated and clean. the one problem is the parking and the distance to carry your luggage, that aside, i would recommend.

Our summer vacation in Shelby, Michigan...

My husband and I had never been to Shelby, and had never stayed away (alone..) for a week. From the moment we met the Sparks, and walked into the "cottage" we felt like we were in a special place. We
have stayed in a lot of places, and this one is one of our favorites. The Sparks family have made this cottage an emaculate "haven", and even had the weather cooperate! We had a wonderful time, and would recommend it to anyone.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
