Great Location, Nice Room

The location at the Diamondhead end of Waikiki, overlooking Kapiolani Park, and one block from the beach is excellent. We really enjoyed sitting on the lanai looking at the park, Diamondhead and the ocean. The only downside of the location is that there is sometimes some street noise when you sit on the lanai or have the sliding door open, which we did almost all of the time that we were in the room. The room is a bit small, most appropriate for 2 people. It is nicely decorated, in very good condition and clean. The bathroom is also very nice, with a good shower and reasonable towels. We really liked that the room has a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, a microwave, 2 burners, a kitchen sink, dishes, pots and pans, and utensils. The room also has a couple of beach towels and beach mats, which we used when we went to the beach. We also liked the convenience of having laundry facilities in the basement (only $1 per wash and $0.75 to dry). We really enjoyed our visit and would stay here again. We have stayed at another hotel in Waikiki Beach and think that this location is the best. This room is a good value.
Owner's Response: Thanks you so much for your review. Your business is appreciated more than you'll ever know.
This location is awesome with direct Diamond Head, Kapiolani Park and Ocean views. One of the most enjoyable things to do is sit on the lanai and watch the constant trail of beach-goers and surfers, to and from the beach all day long. I frequently tell our guests that the street noise is in fact part of the glamour of Waikiki.
If you are looking for total peace and quiet, we are happy to make recommendations on this Island or others for you. Some people like to split their time between the solitude of Maui and the shopping and nightlife of Waikiki. That way you are truly able to experience all the best worlds Hawaii has to offer.
Thank you again for your business,
Steve
