As the day unfolds the beach comes alive with sports activities such as parasailing, glass bottom boats, sports fishing, diving, and snorkeling, windsurfing, sailing and beach volleyball. Or relax and soak up the sun, a Presidente beer in hand.

For travelers who like to shop, it's a five minute drive to the new Palma Real Shopping center, full of boutiques, international restaurants, banks, a movie theater and an upscale disco where you may enjoy the Dominican rhythms of merengue and bachata.
