New Luxury 2BR Condo Right at the Beach

What a nice and relaxing atmosphere. The apartment is on the lower level in the photo with the veranda out front. 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths. Plenty of hot water for showers. AC and ceiling fans. Property was clean and well maintained inside and out. The beach is through the front gate and just across the street as indicated. Nice, quieter part of the beach with soft sand. The pool was very nice as well and just as warm as the ocean. Most days we were the only ones in the pool.
restaurants in the area, though we only found one that took a credit card. Most would take US dollars and DR Pesos. Just down the road (2 min walk) was a grocery store, bakery (yum) and a money changing "window". Very fair on the conversion-way better than at the airport. Also the bus stop is there for the more adventurous.
The owner's local property manager arranged the taxi ride to/from airport $40 each way and met us at the house to show us everything. There is a property caregiver/guard on site 24/7 to help out, though he doesn't speak English. He even helped with grilling our fresh lobster-actually he did all the work.
The area is very safe! Some pushy sales people on the beach trying to get you to come to the beachfront shopping center, but not bad really.
A new condo unit going up across the street (beach side). Should be finished soon? Not sure how that will affect the local/beach area. The construction added a little noise to our stay, but not bad.
We we recommend this property to anyone. We were well taken care of.

We arrived on the 22nd of November staying until the 18th of December. There were three of us including myself, my wife and my baby.

When we arrived the guard was there to meet us. He was very friendly, helped us a lot with everything whilst we were there.

The beach was literally 50m away but not in front of the beach, but beach facing. We were a bit disappointed at first, but as the apartment was so great and the beach was so close we ended up forgetting that. The accommodation was very clean and tidy. All of the furniture and appliances were good quality functioning well. In fact everything that we needed was available. I was surprised at how nice the place was as the pictures do not show how nice the place actually is. There was air-conditioning and fans in each room and mosquito nets on the windows. In front of the house there was place where the fishermen stayed where we could buy fresh fish and lobster at very reasonable prices. The lobster was 250pesos per pound and the fish 350pesos per 3 fish. There are some shops close by and also there are some shopping centres nearby within a taxi ride away. It is advisable to use the taxi's that is suggested by the property manager as it is a lot cheaper than other taxi's. The cheapest being motorbike taxi's. The beach area where the apartment was, was quieter than other areas of the beach as the other areas all have resorts and they are packed with people, so it is a good location to chill on the beach without too many people around.

We had a great time there and I would recommend to any small family or couple.

You can't beat the location of this condo. Just walk across the street and you're at the beach. Mark made the arrangements to have us picked up at the airport (recommended) and then Eugenie, the property manager, was so friendly and helpful when we arrived. She was eager to help with any questions we had during our stay. The photos are accurate of the condo. It was very spacious with the three people in my party and we stayed comfortable with the central-air and AC units in both the bedrooms. It's nice to eat out on the covered patio and look out on the pool. We didn't see a lot of residents on the property so it kind of felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. It's a short walk to two mini-markets and a beach restaurant, Hurricanes. Overall our experience was very nice and what was even better was how affordable it was!
