Classic Cedar Artist Cabin In Enchanted Setting

Gail understates the beauty and amenities. It's not fancy but it has an updated kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances is comfy, clean and spacious. Gail has thought of Everything: from maps to local history books, wine glasses to lobster pot, beach towels to sketch pads. This is like your favorite auntie's cabin in the woods with a filtered water view. Homespun charm and original art work. Lots of reading material from novels to guide books.
Let the ocean and buoy bell lull you to sleep. Close to Annisquam Light House and Halibut Point State Park. Short drive to Rockport or Glouseter but away from it all. If you appreciate authenticity you will enjoy the wide plank cedar floors and huge deck for entertaining. Skylights, beamed ceilings and screen doors for light and fresh air. Both bedrooms have screen doors opening on to back deck.
We took the Seven Seas Whale Cruise today at Gail's recommendation. Had fantastic sightings of Humpback Whales.
Can't thank you enough. We had a splendid time and will highly recommend your cabin to friends.
Just so you'll know this isn't a ringer---the only thing we'd change if we had a magic wand is to stretch the shower a bit bigger. Can't have everything, but this comes close for simple, down home charm. This would be great vacation spot for singles, couples or a family looking for a private get-away spot. If you like crowds and hustle bustle this is not the place for you.
Annisquam Exchange was a special find. (Next to the Annisquam Historical Society) This consignment collectibles and antique shop is a real gem.
