Direct oceanfront view, private balcony with chairs. Bedroom has 2 King beds with pillow top mattresses. Separate seating area has pull-out loveseat. Televisions in both rooms with available in-room movies, games and music. Mini refrigerator, microwave, coffe maker, high speed internet, and voicemail. Perfect for enjoying the gorgeous beach sunrise. Guests can enjoy a sitting area with a table and 2 chairs. This unit is in an upscale resort located directly on the sand in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Most if not all of the other facilities are located on the other side of A1A in this local area. The resort is situated on 500 feet of sandy beach, perfect for tanning and swimming. It is six miles from Port Everglades and seven miles from Fort Lauderdale International Airport. Resort activities: Poolside Cocktail Lounge. Restaurant and bar have outdoor seating available on the veranda overlooking the beach for drinks or meals. Lounge chairs and towels are available for the beach.

This is an incredible vacation spot, the owner was great with the accomodations and the unit itself was super clean and nice, comfortable beds and very nice view. Over all it was a great experience and I would visit again anytime.

Better Than Advertised

This was the first time we had rented from an owner and not direct with a resort so we were concerned all the way until arrival. This resort was beautiful and our room was better than advertised. The room was clean, spacious and had a beautiful view of the ocean from the private balcony. Absolutely no complaints with the room or resort.

We had a blast

My three girlfriends and I stayed at the Pelican Grand in May 2009 and had a blast. The unit was much larger than expected...two king size beds in one room and a pullout loveseat and a sofa in the living area, which looked over the ocean. Beautiful view and great beach. The staff was incredible also. Everything was a convenient cab ride away. The unit owner had great communication and made it an easy transaction. Would definitely stay here again.
