New Years 2011

Review Submitted: January 4, 2012 Date of Stay: December 2011
We really enjoyed staying at your house. It is charming, even more so than the pictures on the website (and that is not always the case!). I love the cozy New England feel, and driving to Jiminy Peak was easy (less than 15 minutes, unlike staying south of the mountain in the Pittsfield area which has much more traffic). The celiing beams, original wood floors, big comfortable beds and proximity to Williams College all added up to a wonderful experience for me and my four children.

Best vacation ever!

Review Submitted: October 24, 2011 Date of Stay: September 2011
My family (spouse and two children), enjoyed five unforgettable days in this great home located in one of the best areas of Williamstown. Our intention was to relax for a few days and make day trips to nearby sites. As it finally resulted, this property was a wonderful choice.

The house has three extraordinarily comfortable furnished bedrooms , one full bathrooms upstairs and another half bathroom downstairs, both of them perfectly located on each floor, a large, cozy and tastefully decorated living room, plus a kitchen that will delight the most sophisticated chef, since it has all the necessary cooking appliances and utensils.

Every morning, before preparing for our daily trips, we used to enjoy a nice breakfast at the very well kept garden by a nearby lulling stream. These were moments that we will never forget.

Our stay was fantastic and I recommend this gorgeous house to any family, couple or group of friends who want to spend a few days in one of the most beautiful places on the East Coast. Each day, upon returning from our day trips, we felt as if we entered our own home!

Enjoyable stay in Williamstown

Review Submitted: July 20, 2011 Date of Stay: July 2011
We had a really good 4 days in Williamstown and the house was just right for us - quiet but close to the centre, comfortably furnished, well-provided. Washing machine & dryer were much appreciated after previous 10 days in hotels! WiFi was welcome too, as was the outdoor furniture. The owner was very efficient and easy to work with.

Charming Home, Fantastic Location

Review Submitted: February 27, 2011 Date of Stay: January 2011
We were two couples looking for a winter weekend away from it all when we rented this house for a weekend in January. Gaining access to the house was made extremely easy as was the departure. The house itself was very charming and the location supported easy access to the college, stores, great restaurants, and many scenic rides. The kitchen came well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The bathrooms came stocked with supplies and tons of high grade towels. The bedding was in great condition and was extremely comfortable (and the bedroom placement allowed for privacy between the two couples). The High Speed internet was easy to access and provided solid service in all areas of the house.

The only reasons I would not give this house an excellent, was that the heating system had just been replaced and it was a bit noisy and not well balanced throughout the house (one bedroom was much warmer then the other), but I do know they were working the kinks out of the new system and were very apologetic. In addition, we rented it last minute and I did not have a PayPal account previously so I had to try to set one up quickly to make the payment. That process was a little daunting and unfortunately almost made us discontinue the deal. Fortunately at the last minute we were able to work with the owner directly and come up with another plan and everything worked out in time. (The owner was fantastic to work with).
