Absolutely Delightful in Every Way!

Crabford Keys Nashville, TN
Review Submitted: January 9, 2010 Date of Stay: January 2010
I spent the month of January at this charming house whilst teaching just a couple of blocks away at Williams College. It's remarkable. There are many vintage touches, including exposed wooden beams and antique flooring. But the house also has all the modern amenities, right down to a garage door clicker and flat-screen TV. I absolutely adored my four weeks there and would recommend the place highly. It's hard to tell from the outside of the house just how charming and magical the abode actually is.

Sweet Spot!

Bruce L Santa Monica, CA
Review Submitted: August 3, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
I spent a week at this house and loved it. 5 min walk to town/campus/theater, on a very quiet street with a rushing stream, the house is a charming wood beamed farmhouse with every amenity a renter could want. The linens, furniture, kitchenware, and appliances are all new and abundant. Flat screen TV and wireless internet if you're stuck inside on a rainy day, and air conditioners if the humidity strikes. Will hope to get there again!

Great Reunion Launching Pad!

10thReunion Boston, MA
Review Submitted: June 25, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
Three Williams grads and two significant others crashed in this cottage during our 10th college reunion and had a blast! The location was perfect -- we could walk everywhere on campus and in town, but we also had some privacy. It was so nice to have a kitchen and groceries and a grill and a living room where we could hang out with friends. The house was quaint, with wide floor boards and exposed beams, but has been updated in some key ways, including good water pressure, in-house washer and dryer and very comfortable beds. The stream babbling in the backyard was an added bonus. We felt like part of the neighborhood and were very pleased with our choice to rent this house. Thank you for a great experience.

Lovely Home!

Jes&Steph Little Ferry, NJ
Review Submitted: June 17, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
My husband and I stayed at this fantastic farmhouse with another couple over this past Memorial weekend. It was such a wonderful experience.....

The owners of the home took great care in answering all of my questions, quickly replying to all of my emails and offering so much information as to the house and the town. The owners also made special arrangements for us to arrive late at night and everything went off without a hitch. The house is nestled on a quiet, tree-lined street with a very large creek running straight behind the house. I had no idea we would have the soothing sound of a creek. It was lovely. The house was immaculate and had clean sheets and towels. When you first walk in you immediately notice the wood beams in the ceiling and the wide plank wood floors - very cozy and comfortable. There was definitely enough room for the four of us. One of the other charming features of the house is the amount of light the comes in ...lots of windows and the sun just poured in! Both bedrooms had adorable furniture and linens and the bathroom was huge (at least compared to NYC standards). We truly enjoyed the brand new bbq grill and the outdoor furniture. We grilled and ate outside and played cards for hours! The owners had several games available for us and some movies to watch too! All I can say is that it was the relaxing weekend we needed and I just loved the charm of this home. The neighborhood is adorable too - get out and see the farmlands, the cute narrow streets near the college and the antique stores that line the highways. And don't miss out on Tsubo Massage in Williamstown - they have great deals on their 60 minute massages and its just 3 minutes from the house. And definitely take a walk and check out the creek - you won't be sorry.

We will definitely come back again!
