BEAR PAW RETREAT- STILL TIME TO CATCH THOSE SALMON!

We really enjoyed this cabin. This was our groups first time to Alaska. We traveled with a family of 4 and two grandparents. The sleeping arrangements were adequate, the master bed was worn past its time and was uncomfortable to sleep on (I never heard any complaints from anyone else). However, the location of the cabin on the Kenai peninsula was great. It was right in the middle between Seward and Homer also close to Cooper's Landing where we rafted and went on a horse back ride. The cabin was well equipped, minus some board games (we helped start a collection) to keep us busy on the long days of summer. The washing machine was a nice amenity that allowed us to limit the cost of luggage and especially nice when traveling with kids. The 2 showers made getting ready for the day easy. The campfire ring and benches was a nice way to end our days. The property was very quiet and peaceful. There are nice hiking trails close by and also a safe rode to run on. The only thing to improve this cabin would to upgrade the mattress and add a hot tub. The owner and property manager were always available and able to assist with information before and during our trip. The bottom line is. . . we are counting down the days to return to Bear Paw cabin!!!
