Exterior include: 9 hole chip/putt golf course, ½ acre stocked pond, a 10 person hot tub, natural rock swimming pool with beach entrance and four waterfalls, batting cage, two story tree-house with 200 foot zip line, sand volleyball court, shuffleboard, bocce ball, horseshoes, over 2 acres of grass, and over a mile of walking/riding paths. The interior features: a 1,000 square foot “king” master suite with private office, Jacuzzi bath, walk in closet and shower; an additional “queen” master suite with private bath; two additional bedrooms (one with queen bed, other with bunk) as expected televisions reside in each room. A 1,400 square foot game room features 24 foot high rock fireplace, 13 foot bar, Billiard table built in 1892, foosball, bumper pool gaming table, darts and of course a 70” high definition television with surround sound as well as two additional televisions on the opposite wall. A laundry room is also available for use during your stay.

The Life is Good Ranch is located just 7 miles from I-5, exit 48 and about halfway between the cities of Medford and Grants Pass. While most people don't leave once they arrive there are many wonderful actives outside the ranch. Jacksonville is gateway to Wine Country and is 30 minutes away. Jetboating and Worldclass fishing await you in Grants Pass just 20 minutes. Ashland and the famous Shakespeare Festival is about 40 minutes down the road. Medford is the center of Southern Oregon and provides restaurants, shopping and the International Airport.

The Jacksonville Room has double closets and a glass slider leading out to the pool area. The Grants Pass room is set-up for the kids with two double/twin combination bunk beds. Our family of 8 experienced a fun-filled, relaxing week at Life is Good Ranch. We especially enjoyed all of the on-site games and activities. While there we had 2 days of family reunion gatherings (with Medford-area relatives) and this property was the perfect venue.

Derek and Jennifer were excellent hosts and bent over backwards to fulfill our needs. We look forward to a return visit in 2011!

Wonderful and Relaxing Vacation

I can not say enough about how much fun the whole family had at this Ranch. More than enough to do without ever leaving the property.

The hosts/owners bend over backward to make sure even the slightest details are taken care of and are extremely generous with their property.

We can not wait to come back and already have friends booked on our recommendation.

An Opportunity to Create Cherished Memories

Life is Good Ranch is a gorgeous and expansive homestead. The property is located down a secluded road, has a gated entrance, is fully fenced (all 15 acres) and is nestled in a wooded area. We were awestruck by the enormous rooms, including a master suite fit for a queen, a gourmet kitchen, massive game room, and incredible outdoor space. The property was very clean and the owner/care taker extremely attentive, providing excellent customer service.

We rented this with two other families during Spring Break of ’09, and although the weather was not ideal, it did not seem to slow our kids down one bit. The kids spent most of everyday outside and could not get enough of the tree house and zip line, the chipping course and the batting cage along with all the other activities. It was so nice just to let them play outside, and be kids. One day our group even visited a neat little winery that was near the property. In the evenings (when we were not out by the fire pit or in the hot tub), there was plenty to do in the game room. The vacation experience at this ranch has allowed our family to create some new memories that we will cherish for years to come. We will definitely be going back!

Magical Place - Adult Summer Camp

Whether you are looking to relax and kick back or play games with the kids or grandkids - the Life is Good Ranch is for you.
This multi million dollar estate offers something for everyone. The enormous game room keeps the party going as late as you like.
Our dog was the only one that had more fun than us.
Now that we booked it again for next year we can tell our friends.
Their motto is "Life is about creating memories" and our stay here will never be forgotten.
Special thanks to Jennifer and Derek the owners for allowing us to rent their incredible home.
