Sandy Ridge Vacation Rental house

We looked at a lot of holiday sites, villas and reviews before settling on this one and after reading the review here (at the last moment) were we pleasantly surprised. The house is great - the owners have obviously spent time and money making this a home from home. Comfortable three seater sofas (two) in the family room, nice pictures on the walls, tasteful decor. A fully fitted and decorated games room - especially liked the little touches like the USA map to record were guests come from - they need to get a world map as we are from the UK. A good supply of books, some DVDs, playing cards and even a jigsaw which my wife loved. We found the information board useful, especially the card for the TUSCANA tavern. Only 5 minutes away - drive to Champions Gate and just before the gate turn right and drive past Chillies on the right, gas station onthre left. At the bottom of the road is the Tuscana resort. great poolside bar/restaurant run by great people.We also liked the little touches like the telephone number for a great taxi service - with a 25% discount for guests at the villa. Take a trip to Mount Dora - something for everyone. Lots of gift shops (not the sort on 192!) antiques and collectables as well a nearbye flea market (again not the sort on 1920 but where people sell interesting things and junk!. Go down to the lake and take the canal trip. We saw Egrets, Ibis, Herons.Ducks, vultures turtles and yes - ALLIGATORS. The best $20 trip ever and only one hours drive.
