As the quintessential 1950s beach cabin, SeaSpray Cottage is the perfect cottage rental from which to explore and experience beautiful Lopez Island, a jewel of the San Juan Islands. Peaceful Lopez Island, known as the ‘Friendly Isle’ of Washington, is a haven for bicycling, kayaking, gentle hiking, and beach combing, with stunning views of the San Juan Islands and Olympic Mountains. Our vintage cottage rental on Lopez Island is 30 feet from the natural rock steps down on our private beach on Davis Bay. Launch a kayak from the shore, fly kites with the children, have a picnic on the sand, or go on a bicycle tour amid rolling farmlands and fields. You can walk with your family along the trails at Iceberg Point, play at Spencer Spit State Park or Watmough Bay, and explore Shark’s Reef. The cozy living room is a prime place for spending time together. Relax in front of the warm wood stove. Read or watch the soothing water from our SeaSpray Cottage window.

Move onto the Sun Porch, even closer to the beach and listen to the waves and the grumbling sea lions. There is a large dining table here for your evening meals. The kitchen is small but fully equipped for family style cooking. Plenty of dishes, glassware and cookware are provided for your use. The kitchen is open to the living room, across the breakfast counter. The Master bedroom is on the ocean side of the cottage, featuring a double bed. A sliding glass door opens onto the Sun Porch so the breeze and water sounds will find you while sleeping. The kids will enjoy the cozy, built in 'cabin style' bunks in the back bedroom. We have provided fine quality cotton linens for all the beds and fluffy towels for after your showers. Beach towels will accompany you to the shore for your adventures there. It may look small, but SeaSpray Cottage has been a cozy, comfortable summer residence that is big on making memories for families! Come be our guest at SeaSpray!
