My husband and I have lived in the Mission for 6 years now and we absolutely love it! Not only does it have the best weather in the city, but it has a very "old world" kind of feeling, that reminds me very much of Europe where I grew up. The neighborhood is very lively and diverse, and most shops, restaurants and coffee shops are in walking distance. Since we first moved here, the area surrounding us has vastly improved, so that now we have a beautiful little park nearby where we can walk our dogs, and so many new galleries and trendy clubs to check out. We would love for you to come stay here and enjoy this place like we do.

NOT BAD BUT...

  • 4 of 5

AMAZING GARDEN APARTMENT

  • 5 of 5
We stayed in this great little apartment for 3 nights. The apartment was perfect for us a family of four. The bed was comfortable, the garden was peaceful, and the rooftop solarium was beautiful. We took full advantage of all the ammenities and enjoyed every moment. The owners were very helpful and although parking was not included, they helped us find parking right in front of the building. The corner store was great and we easily walked to the bart and all other sites we wanted to see. It was much better then staying in a hotel and we will definetly stay there again the next time we are in town.

NICE KITCHEN !

  • 3 of 5
This apartment is a bit too south of the trendier neighbourhood of mission . The room's bed could be improved as well as the water noises from the pipes but the little garden space in the back is quite nice.

LOVED THE APARTMENT!

  • 5 of 5
My husband and I rented this apartment from Sept. 26 to Oct. 2, 2013. The apartment is uniquely designed with all the high-quality amenities that we needed. The queen-size bed was very comfortable and the bedroom had a large closet. The garden was beautiful, quiet, surrounded by bamboo trees, lots of green plants and a little pond-very magical both day and night. The rooftop solarium with its cactus plants, great panoramic view of the city, and wonderful 2-person sauna with a built-in sound system was a great treat.
Nicky, the property manager was fabulous- she's extremely pleasant, helpful (knows about the area's resources) and responsive.
The onsite parking, which fortunately for us was available, was very convenient. The Corner Store, right down the block, is very convenient and had great sandwiches!
Our overall experience staying in this apartment exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and pleasant place to stay in SF. If we return to SF, we will definitely try to stay here again!

LOVED THIS PLACE!

  • 5 of 5
My boyfriend and I rented this place from 4/8 to 4/11. We are really glad we rented this place rather than booking a hotel.

Ease of renting - 5/5 The owners were extremely nice and responsive.

Transportation/Parking - 5/5 We had a car and were able to rent the parking garage in this building from the owners for $100. So, worth the money! Definitely recommend it if you are staying here. Parking is really hard to find and there are limits to how long you can park your car in one location. We took the bart/cables cars most of the time we were here. The bart station is a few minutes walk.

Area - 4/5 - SF has a lot of homeless people all over the city. This area was no different. There were some homeless people around the area that made me a little uncomfortable at first. After awhile I got use to it.

Amenities 5/5 - This place had linens, basic kitchen supplies, dishwasher, wireless internet, cable, laptop computer...everything you could need on vacation. I thought it was a little odd that they didn't supply any soap or shampoo in the bathroom. We just went to the corner store and bought some so it wasn't a huge deal. The washer/dryer here was a huge plus. However, it took us forever to figure out how to unlock the childproofing lock. The bathtub was one of my favorite things. The bathtub wall had frosted glass which let in light from kitchen. SO beautiful. Don't worry, no one can see you take a shower through the glass. :)

Solarium/Sauna - 5/5 - The view from this solarium was breath-taking. So awesome!

Garden 5/5 - Very cute garden with a BBQ. We had dinner outside one night.

There were only two things that bothered me about this place. 1. Upon entering the apartment, I noticed a smell. I thought it was food from the people who stayed here before us, but the smell stayed our entire trip. It kinda smells like there is a gas leak. We did raise this concern to the owners and they checked it out right away. There isn't a leak, its just how this place smells. You stop noticing the smell after awhile. The owner said it might be the cleaning supplies from one of the closets. 2. One of the neighbors (not in this building - probably down the street) has a very loud dog that starts barking after he or she leaves for work. It starts around 7am and continues sporadically for a couple hours.

Overall we really enjoyed our time here. I would definitely recommend place to friends and family.
