Wonderful vacation spot

Our family had a terrific vacation at this house. The photos do not do the house justice. There is a beautiful sunroom with a great view of the lake, and an upper deck that was perfect for a morning cup of coffee or a happy hour cocktail overlooking the lake. The grounds are full of butterflies and humming birds. The house was in great condition, very clean and well-maintained. It is decorated in a very warm and personal style, and has lots of interesting things to look at. There was an installed baby gate at the top of each set of stairs - which was vital for us with a toddler. The dock gets some sun and some shade most of the day - so it was perfect whenever we wanted to swim. The house is in it's own little cove, so there's no issue with boats coming in too near the swimming area. The North Georgia Power lakes are all semi-remote so I'd plan to bring in all your groceries with you, but from this house you are only 20 minutes away from the Lake Burton Grocery which is a small grocery/convenience store where you could pick up emergency provisions, and they also sell excellent BBQ. The owner was in the house the week before we were and made special accomodations to make sure everything worked for us. The kitchen is gorgeous and has everything you need, and is well labelled so you remember where to find things and where to put them away. We hope to make this a yearly tradition, and would recommend the house to anyone looking for a quiet vacation.

Owner's Response: I am so glad that Elizabeth enjoyed the Lake Seed experience with her family. I love everything about my lakehouse and am so happy when others appreciate it as my family does.
