The town of Rockport is located about 35 miles northeast of Boston at the tip of Cape Ann peninsula. It is directly east of Gloucester and surrounded on three sides by the Atlantic ocean. The major industry is tourism. The population is about 8000 year around but during the summer that can creep up as high as 20,000. Rockport is home to many attractions including Cape Ann Symphony (currently under construction) Halibut Point State Park, Bearskin Neck and Thatcher Island.

Perfect for our family

This house quite comfortably fit three couples and two children. The living room is spacious, with enough room for all of us, and we loved being able to all sit together in the dining room. The house was very clean, and there were lots of toys and games for the kids. The beach is a bit of a walk to get to, so don't think it's just a minute or so. Probably close to fifteen minutes with small children, but still very doable. And lovely.
We enjoyed easy access to local attractions and shopping, but the house was so nice we were also perfectly happy to stay 'home' and visit. The owner was very helpful and accomodating. Thank you! We'd love to come back sometime!

The perfect getaway and those ocean views.....

Relax on the deck overlooking the ocean, take walks on the beautiful stretches of beaches, or take a quick trip to Rockport, Gloucester or any of the charming seaside towns around Cape Ann. The house is pristine and cheerful and convenient to all the local amenities. Perfect summer getaway. We'll be back..C.S. Darien CT
