We are located steps away from beautiful Rathtrevor Park. Look out the living room window and see the park with its natural beauty. Majestic treetops sway in the wind and eagles fly overhead. Deer, rabbits and other wildlife are throughout the area. This area is a stop for migratory birds. The beach is a ten minute walk from the house through this magnificent park. The wide open and shallow watered sandy beach allows for long walks and safe playing area for children. Search for sea life in the shallow pools of ocean waters, or just sit and enjoy the view from the sandy shores or picnic table, where you can set up for the day. Best swimming is at the end of the day when the tide comes in to meet you after being warmed by the heat of the sand. Come, stay and enjoy!

We try to provide a high standard of cleanliness for our guests, and spend several hours cleaning between each renter. Used bed linens, comforters, bed spreads are washed and steamed between each visitor. Also towels, beach towels, kitchen linens and throws are washed.

First Family Vacation

After welcoming our son into this world ten months prior, we decided it was time to introduce him to the joy of travel and the beauty of Vancouver Island. We decided that Parksville was the perfect location, with it's warm water, sandy beaches and mini-golf courses (which, at this point, are more for mom and dad!). We couldn't have found more suitable accommodations for our stay - this property was truly our home away from home. Dana has thought of everything in order to make visitors comfortable, even specific items needed by parents. Her cozy cottage is clean and in a wonderful location, close to the park and, yes, even mini-golf. Although we were too late to benefit from "beach weather", we enjoyed the on-site swimming pool, just a short walk away. Thank you for sharing your lovely cottage with our family, Dana - it was a terrific "first" for us and we hope to return for another visit someday soon!

Dieses Haus ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für alle Aktivitäten. Es ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, so dass unsere Familie sich sofort zu Hause gefühlt hat. Wir empfehlen das Haus uneingeschränkt gerne weiter. Wenn uns unsere Reise nochmals nach Vancouver Island führt, werden wir definitiv wieder bei Dana das Haus mieten.

Highly recommend staying at this vacation home if you are going to Parksville....very close to everything, indoor pool was great for after dinner, very clean and well organized home away from home complete with all the kitchen basics and great beach items for the kids and adults!!

Dana, I forwarded it on to my daughter for her to send her comments, I must say that I certainly enjoyed my two days at your home. It was wonderful, everything, the decorating of the unit, the cleanliness, all the items left for our use. My daughter and grandson even got out for a tour in a kayak. It was truly a wonderful spot, all the brochures left for us to chose where to go was handy. The beach stuff was so awesome, toys, mats etc. Loved it all, can't say enough good about it. I will be booking again for sure.
