Condo, 4 Bedrooms, 4 Baths, (Sleeps 7-9)

'Sea Glass', a spacious, four bedroom oceanfront penthouse condo, is located in a private, gated 'Ocean Village' community on Summer Beach half way between the Ritz Carlton and Amelia Island Plantation. This unit is located directly beside the main swimming pool and beach boardwalk.

The two story Great Room creates a huge open living area with windows and sliding doors opening to the 180 degree ocean view. The master on the main level also opens to the lanai and offers the same spectacular views. The upstairs oceanfront queen bedroom has its own private balcony with its own view of the dunes and beach.

There are two private neighborhood pools. The main pool, directly next to this home, overlooks the ocean and beach. The second, adult pool, is 100 yds away. There are also 2 private tennis courts in this lush, beautifully landscaped neighborhood.

Less than 8 miles from historic Fernandia, 'Sea Glass' is in a wonderful location with the other Amelia Island resort communities, convenient to shopping, sight seeing, or exploring the many wonderful attractions offered on Amelia Island and the nearby Cumberland Island, Talbot National Park, and Jacksonville.

We rented this penthouse for three months. It has an interior designer's flair for both elegance and comfort, fresh and clean, an exceptionally well equipped kitchen, and has unobstructed views of the ocean that are unbeatable. The condo's main balcony overlooking the sea is sizeable - furnished for outside dining or reading in comfortable lounge chairs. Watching the sunrise from inside the master bedroom, large dining and living area, kitchen, and the charming upstairs guest room with a private balcony of its own is enchanting. The pretty pool with abundant lounging space (some covered), has a picnic area, restrooms, and lovely flower gardens - it is less than 300 feet away from the doorstep. We have rented several different ocean front condos on Amelia Island over the last eleven years, including some in The Plantation, and this Ocean Village condo penthouse is by far the perfect home away from home for anyone wishing to live in total comfort during their Amelia Island vacation!
