Watch the giant sea turtles lay their eggs, go hiking, bird watching, kayaking on the Langosta estuary, horse back riding and so much more. Playa Langosta and Tamarindo are best known for there excellent surfing conditions for beginners to advanced. This is an awesome place to vacation with family and friends.
Snorkelling and Scub Diving: Tour the world down under at the Isla de Catalinas (Catalinas and Bat Islands) and Murcielago in the North Pacific Ocean. The visibility in this area is excellent, ranging from 20 to 60 feet. Prepare for strong currents as these locations are 3 to 8 miles out at sea. Some of the underwater creatures you will most likely meet are tropical reef sharks, barracudas, eagle mantas, and giant sea turtles, which live here year round. March to November are prime months for diving at the Bat Islands and December to May is great for spotting the incredible Manta Rays. The Pacific Ocean water is normally a very comfortable 70 to 80 degrees.
Sailing: Glide through the Pacific ocean while enjoying the sunset with the wind in your hair and a cool drink in your hand on a catamaran or classic schooner sunset sailing cruise. Spot dolphins and jumping Manta rays, and an occasional whale while sailing the Pacific blue ocean and snorkeling in hidden coves. Some of the most colorful sunsets in the world are witnessed while sailing in Costa Rica, so don’t forget your camera!
