Notes: There is central air conditioning in the living, dining room and kitchen area. The bedrooms have their own split units. One private parking space underground. Two parking spaces in total. Large 37 inch flat screen in the living room and a smaller, wall mounted, flat screen in the master bedroom. Surround sound system in the living room. Cooking utensils provided include rice cooker, coffee maker, toaster, and blender provided. There are 2 balconies in the Condo Ilana, a large one in the front of the unit with wonderful views of the recreational pool area below. And the other on the side of the unit just off the master bedroom, with a view of the tropical children's play area below and the lush trees that separate the complex from Playa Langosta. Large fitness center with new cardio equipment and free weights along with several weight machines located on the top floor of the Peninsula Complex with large windows that have beautiful ocean views of Playa Langosta!

Other Activities: Watch the giant sea turtles lay their eggs, go hiking, bird watching, kayaking on the Langosta estuary, horse back riding and so much more. Playa Langosta and Tamarindo are best known for there excellent surfing conditions for beginners to advanced. This is an awesome place to vacation with family and friends.

Snorkelling and Scub Diving: Tour the world down under at the Isla de Catalinas (Catalinas and Bat Islands) and Murcielago in the North Pacific Ocean. The visibility in this area is excellent, ranging from 20 to 60 feet. Prepare for strong currents as these locations are 3 to 8 miles out at sea. Some of the underwater creatures you will most likely meet are tropical reef sharks, barracudas, eagle mantas, and giant sea turtles, which live here year round. March to November are prime months for diving at the Bat Islands and December to May is great for spotting the incredible Manta Rays. The Pacific Ocean water is normally a very comfortable 70 to 80 degrees.

Sailing: Glide through the Pacific ocean while enjoying the sunset with the wind in your hair and a cool drink in your hand on a catamaran or classic schooner sunset sailing cruise. Spot dolphins and jumping Manta rays, and an occasional whale while sailing the Pacific blue ocean and snorkeling in hidden coves. Some of the most colorful sunsets in the world are witnessed while sailing in Costa Rica, so don’t forget your camera!

We stayed at Condo Ilana from Aug. 1-8, 2009. We were a small group of family and friends. We had a fantastic time. The condo is beautifully decorated, super comfortable, has excellent appointments and is well located just 3 minute walk to Playa Langosta Beach. The pool area is expansive, and the pool itself is very inviting. We used the poolside bar-b-que one night which was fun, looked at the well equipped fitness center but must admit to not using it, and enjoyed the gorgeous Tamarindo sunsets. One of the great features of the condo is that it is quietly hidden in Langosta but still just minutes away from the dining, night life, and shopping of Tamarindo. The convenience was important to our group. Overall, I have say we loved our stay, we want to go back, and it was hard to pack and leave!
