Celebrating our son's 30th Birthday!

We just got back from our lake trip celebrating our son's 30th birthday. When you book a home over the internet, you can't help but to be nervous about what you are going to actually see when you arrive. While I worried the entire trip to the lake, I was so happy when we arrived. The house was amazing and the way it was built, was great for a large party! We enjoyed it very much. I was also very impresssed with the way the kitchen was stocked. While we brought lots of food and actually pre-ordered or Friday evening meal, the kitchen was amazing. I loved how people left things and we did the same thing. While we had plenty of our own goodies, it was nice to see the sharing of people. We had a crab legs and shrimp boil Saturday evening. Sat everything up our front of the house and made it so easy and convenient to the kitchen. The weekend was perfect!!!! We also loved the swim dock and slide. Everyone enjoyed the floating devices and we even left some behind for the next group. I cleaned the house before we left so I hope the cleaning lady liked that. She was also very nice too! I will say that if one thing was a negative, it was that the trash cans were all full when we arrived but thank goodness we had a big truck and that became our dumpster until we took it to be dumped early Sunday morning. But that's pretty awesome when only one thing is a negative!!!! Thank you Scott for the ease of booking the house as well as talking with us on Saturday morning when the power went out after the crazy storm that blew in Friday night!!!!! Our son was very happy with everything and so were his friends!!!!!
