3 Bedrooms plus a den 2 full bathrooms and an outdoor shower sleeps 8

'Ferrindipity' is an adorable cape with an open floor plan. As you enter our home( first floor) you come upon the living room with a brick free standing fireplace, hardwood floors and beamed ceiling flowing into the eating area and kitchen. Off the living room is the master bedroom and 4th bedroom that is furnished as a TV room. There is a newly renovated full bathroom with a glass enclosed tile shower and beach stone floor. Off the kitchen are french doors to a wrap around deck. Upstairs are 2 more bedrooms each one has 2 twin beds and a full bathroom with a bath tub. The house is well equipped for a family vacation. There are 2 TVs each one hooked up to cable with on demand service, DVD, Bose wave stereo system, wireless internet service and cable telephone service. The outdoor shower is fabulous. Relax on the back deck or in the hammock with only the sound of the waves. The path beside the house leads directly to the best beach, SURFSIDE.

Ferrindipity...the house: Ferrindipity is the perfect home for a great family vacation. It is located on a quiet dead end street. There is lots of privacy with scrub pines surrounding it. Recently renovated the house is easy to maintain...just open the doors and sweep out the sand. Lasting memories will be made here.

Surfside a great area since it is close to town and beaches. Easy to get around and no place is out of reach. There are bike trails to every part of the island and great walking and nature trails for outdoor activities. No more than a 5 minute drive for groceries, banks and town. Nantucket is such a charming island with its cobblestone street, gourmet restaurants, fabulous shopping. There is so much to explore on this small island and never enough time to do it all.

I rented this house in the 11th hour and the owners really came through for me. They felt like family versus landlords through the whole rental process. The house in a 10 minute walk to private surfside beach. We loved the outdoor shower and the privacy of the house and yard. I look forwrd to 2 weeks next year!

We have been renting this lovely home for over ten years and try never to miss a season.
The decor is classic Nantucket, the home is always immmaculate and the convenience to surfside beach is perfect.
The ocean roar at night is so soothing and we love to watch the stars out on the deck at night. The owners are fantastic to work with and we feel lucky to have found our "home away from home".
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
