It seems our beach house has inspired all the writers/actors/musicians and artists who have stayed with us. Chapters have been written and revised, musicals invented, canvases sketched and scenes rehearsed during their visit. The remodeled cottage with its rich, earth tones are as comforting as the overstuffed living room sofa. Add to that, thick carpeting, wood floors and freshly painted walls. The brightly-lit kitchen has white cupboards, new appliances and granite countertops. The floor plan is open and conducive to lively conversation.

The final inspiration is the Pacific Ocean, less than one minute from the front door. The backyard has a glass table and wicker chairs for outdoor dining. There is a gas barbeque, outdoor shower, chiminea with four chairs and outdoor lights. Our guests particularly enjoy the stereo in the backyard studio. Palms trees and colorful plants add a tropical feel.

There's room for Fido and the kids to play too!

Those who have vacationed in our beach house use the same words over and over to describe this special getaway: 'Your cottage feels just like home. Except that it is nine houses from the beach!'

Wonderful Summer Beach Vacation

We stayed for a week and the owner even let us arrive early (1:00 pm). We were shown the house and all the amenities, and then were left to have a fun and relaxing week. Everything is provided for in the house (fully equipped kitchen, a BBQ grill, and laundry room). There's a fantastic outdoor shower to clean up after a day at the beach (which is literally a one minute walk)! The place is perfect for a family, or even for a larger group considering the outdoor studio. The fireplace outside was a great addition and we loved using it on those cool breezy nights. We loved that it was dog friendly, and that the owner was so welcoming. Highly recommend!

I try to imagine what I would want and need during a special time with family or friends and try my best to provide it: BBQ, outdoor shower, cool, Western style dining room conversion, fireplace, comfy couch and two televisions, grassy outdoors with lovely plants and palms and a special outdoor studio that is usually taken over by the kids. WHAT A GREAT BEACH GETAWAY

I love this beach home...it was close to a dog friendly beach and to the harbor. My teens and friends kayaked in the harbor, swam daily in the ocean, boogie boarded, had the best ice cream at costal cone, amazing fish tacos on Seward, and the best fish and chips at Andrias. We tanned and chilled and read books, and made S'mores at the onsite firepit. Cant recommend it enough!

Home Sweet Home

We truly enjoyed out stay at this Cottage. There was relaxing, sunning, boogie boarding, walks on the sand with the dog and grandkids, bbqing, watching movies with the family in the evenings, playtime at the pirate park,OH BOY, riding scooters, stores very close by, coffee in the morning in the back yard, grandkids painting pictures on the grass in the front yard, read some great stories to the kids. Lots and Lots of pictures... The Cottage was very cozy comfortable and clean,the kitchen was fully equipt,bedrooms were great and Trader Joe's was close by.
What more could you ask for? A great owner that communicated well and the discription of the property was extremely accurate, I have already recommended this as a great getaway for memories.

GREAT!

The location was great, the house was super cute, we LOVED the "club house" as my son called it, in the backyard. Overall, it was an excellent experience. We look forward to our next stay, and it will be there!
