During our tour of USA we stayed in this apartment for 4 weeks. During this time New York experienced a record daily temperature, record 24 hour rainfall, an earthquake, Hurricane Irene and the Jamacia Day Parade. Further, we commuted daily to Manhattan and the tourist spots in Brooklyn using the subway. None of the above impacted our stay in the apartment and we found that everything was and operated as expected. The subway was an easy walk in a non threatening neighbourhood. The owners provided timely responses to our queries and were open and honest in our discussions with them. I would stay in this apartment if visiting New York again and would recommend the apartment to anyone visiting New York.
