The building is a brand new condo with 20 units. Unit 13 is top-floor in the southeast corner of the building, so it enjoys a beautiful view looking down the white sandy coast and the bright blue ocean. You also get the benefit of seeing amazing sunsets over the Playa del Carmen skyline (those that know Playa know there's nothing over 4 stories here, so you have unobstructed views). The open loft king bedroom also has a futon sofa that folds flat and sleeps and additional adult or 2 kids. There's a huge bathroom on this level, too. The main floor bedroom has 2 twin beds (can be configured into a king with advanced notice) and direct access into the other full bathroom. The great room features a kitchen and open living area with dining table, leather sofa, and private balcony with amazing view of Caribbean and of Playa del Carmen.

Halfway between Cancun and Tulum, Playa offers easy access to the shopping, restaurants, and nightlife of the city as well as the archaeological wonders of the ruins at Tulum, Coba', or Chichen Itza. You can sit on the beautiful beaches and do nothing, or explore the sea from beneath by snorkeling or scuba diving. A venture inland to the jungle offers excitement of zip line tours or swimming in cenotes (say-NO-tays -- freshwater, underground rivers). And the best of all, you don't even need a car (even the grocery stores are walkable).
