This house is perfect for families, reunions and friends. A terrific balance of private and shared space on three floors. Walk to the beach or down the driveway to the playing fields. This sun filled contemporary sits on 3 + private wooded acres adjacent to the Rye Harbor State Park and the Rye Recreation area. Deck with outdoor grill, wireless internet - stay connected or ignore it all and enjoy the best of New England from this terrific location. Clean and serene the house features white walls and hard wood floors. The first floor has 3 bedrooms, kids play area and a full bath. The second floor is nothing but sun-filled open living space featuring an all white kitchen, hardwood floors, dining area, sunroom, living room, half bath with washer dryer. Glass door off of the sun room leads to the deck and gourmet gas grill. The top floor, accessed via a spiral staircase leads to the master suite with a full bath and deck.

Get some yummy fried clams or spring for the lobster dinner at any number of tasty shacks along the beach. Bring your bicycle or walking shoes and enjoy. From horses to hiking, beaches or biking. Rye is located between the towns of Portsmouth & Hampton. The scenic Maine towns of York, Ogunquit & Kennebunkport are each a 20-45 minute drive north. Area antiquing along scenic RT 4 is fun. Plus the best whale watches ever just down the street at the Rye Harbor. Portland, ME & Boston, MA are each an hour away from Rye.

We had a fantastic time!! The house is beautiful and was everything and more than we expected. We had 7 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of space for family dinners and for "alone time". The house was fully equipt and very clean and well maintained. The location was great with beaches, sightseeing, and shopping within a short distance. I would recommend this home to anyone and would definitely return!!
Owner's Response: Thanks so much, we loved having you. With the wetlands restored later this year, we are planning on having kayaks available next summer which means your group could take our kayak to the beach.

PS The autumn is another great time to visit.

Absolutely fabulous vacation...the house was everything that the owners sad it would be. It was clean, spacious and just far enough away from noise and confusion. I will recommend this property to friends and relatives but not for the weeks I want it.
Owner's Response: Thanks so much. We loved having your group. Next year promises to be even better when the creek out back will be accessible and offer access to the harbor with our kayaks. Stay in touch and thanks again.

Thank you for having your wonderful home available for rent. It was a delightful place to stay. With 2 adults and four children, it proved cozy, yet with ample room to spread out as needed. We love the area; close to the beaches, shopping, Water Country, and Hampton Beach, without the everyday hustle-bustle.
