This first floor villa is a 3 bed 2 bath unit that sleeps 6. This property is spacious by design and comfortable! The kitchen comes fully stocked and has a breakfast bar! It also has a side-by-side refrigerator and freezer with an ice and water dispenser in the door! The master bedroom has a king bed with a private bathroom. The second bedroom is a queen bed, and the third bedroom holds two twin beds. Both the queen and twin rooms share an over sized bathroom. Off the living area is an open patio, which looks out onto the lake and golf course!
The Turnberry Villas are a separate community within Sandestin. The villas host a pool with a gazebo, chairs, and changing rooms. It also has a number of ponds and lakes to do some catch and release fishing, all you need is your pole and some bait! The Resort is a gated, exclusive, and it’s a wonderful family vacation spot! You get it all, white sandy beaches, the bay, the lakes, Baytown Village with its restaurants, live entertainment and many exciting activities. It is also the location of a very exclusive Marina at the Wharf. There is lighted walking and biking trails, shopping, ice-cream parlors, just to mention a few. There is something for every-one of all ages including family movies on the green, concerts, and nightlife with dancing and family fun. You can play on the beach all day and then party at the Baytowne Wharf all night.

The Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort was a perfect place for our vacation, it had everything we could want and more. You should be aware that it is a large resort, but very easy to get around and the guards at the front gate are so nice and very helpful. This unit is located across from the 1st hole of the Baytowne Golf course ( which is beautiful and a great course to play). I know when I read reviews I don't want to hear the standard "had a great time" party line, so I will get right to the meat and bones of our experience. (+POSITIVES+) :This unit was very nice, comfortable beds, quality linens, convenient parking, and even though the map of the resort does not show it there is a community pool one building over. The pool was never crowded and everyone (home owners and/or other renters) were very nice. The Wharf, marina, tennis courts & shuttle pick up points are just a short stroll away. The shuttle will take you to the beachside but you can drive yourself if you choose too. Parking at the beach was easy, & there is a restaurant there if you want food/drinks. Everything you could possibly want/need; bikes, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, etc, are provided. This unit is a pet friendly unit, & it is obvious that previous pet owners have been very responsible with their pets, there is no pet smell or damage to the unit. Love the washer and dryer! (-NEGATIVES-) :The unit is a wee bit outdated in regards to fixtures/paint, but the decor is lovely, I would advise people too remember that they are a guest in this unit & it is not their personal home so if they need high end finishes they can vaca at home, just relax and enjoy their temporary break from reality. There are a couple of small stains on the carpet in the hallway in front of the bathroom door and on the couch but I was told that this unit is scheduled for a remodel so I am sure that will be addressed. The kitchen was well stocked in terms of necessities (pots/pans/appliances) but would have been nice if the basic spices and other cooking supplies would have been there. The Wharf was great, but the food and drinks are $$$, be aware that there are ALOT of places to eat and drink outside the resort. I highly recommend Cheeseburger in Paradise & Travinia. If you have a motorcycle it will not be allowed on the resort-no exceptions. You cannot accumulate your free passes, so you end up not using very many of them. Overall a great place to stay & I would highly recommend :)
