Our contemporary mid 60’s A-frame cottage is located in Good Hart, 15 Miles North of Harbor Springs on one of the most secluded, waterfront beaches you will ever find. The house is sits at the edge of the forest, on a point with an almost 180 degree view of lake Michigan. From our sun filled deck you look out over 250’ of rolling beach grass covered sand dunes to our wide sand covered beach. With only 2 other houses on the same road, quiet and privacy surround you. The main living-dining room with attached kitchen are dominated by the same light and view as the front deck. The covered back deck with gas grill, table & chairs faces into the quiet of the woods. The master bed/bath room with big closet is behind the kitchen. Overlooking the main room is a high-ceilinged sleeping loft with closet. The lower level has a bedroom, bathroom, laundry, closet, & a garage for the storage of your bicycles, Kayacks etc. Out front is an outdoor shower & hidden behind the first dune a big fire pit.

Our A-Frame is located 18 miles north of Harbor Springs and 3 miles north of the Good hart Store off of M-119. The long driveway to the house is just south of Island View rd.

Additional information about rental rates

  • We accept Personal checks.
    Reservations are made on a first paid, first confirmed basis.
    Dates will only be held after we receive a deposit of 50% of the rental rate.
    Remaining balance MUST be paid in full 30 Days prior to check in date.?

    $350 refundable security deposit. Security deposits sent out 1 week after rental completed.

    Pets considered. If a pet is allowed additional $100.00 pet deposit is also required.

    Cancellation within 60 days of arrival date, forfeits all monies paid, unless equal replacement rental found, then a $100.00 processing fee will be withheld from refund.

    $60.00 Cleaning fee for stays less then 1 week.
    $75.00 Cleaning fee per rental.

    Linens not provided. Guests should bring towels, pillow cases & sheets for 2 Queen beds, 1 Double bed and 1 twin bed.

    Smokers are welcome but outside only please.

In this Scenic Northern Michigan area you have easy access via M-119 and the famous 'Tunnel of Trees” to Bicycling, Golf, Fishing, Tennis, River Rafting and just about any other outdoor activity. In the Spring you are surrounded by forests filled with the white Trillium flowers. In the fall you are surrounded by the intense fall colors and the sounds of the lake. The amenities of Harbor Springs and Petoskey with their shopping, restaurants and cultural activities are but 20 and 35 minutes away. There are antique stores throughout the area Mackinac Island is only 30 minutes away. Nearby Sturgeon Bay offers more clear water to swim in, sandy beaches and giant sand dunes to explore by foot. Cross Village and it's famous Leggs Inn, where you can enjoy authentic Polish food or dance to a live band most weekends are10 minutes away. Nearby Pond Hill Farm offers wonderful local produce. Your daily newspapers, coffee etc. are found at the Good Hart store 3 miles away.
