Beautiful Burt Lake with it's sandy bottom and crystal clear water will be the perfect location for your next family vacation, golf/fishing trip or romantic getaway.

Whether you enjoy boating, fishing, golfing, biking, shopping or just plain relaxing it is all here for you in Northern Michigan. If you manage to leave the relaxing atmosphere of the lake, nearby cities such as Mackinaw, Cheboygan, Harbor Springs and Petoskey offer a small town feel with a friendly atmosphere.

For the kids there is miniature golf and water parks within a short drive. There are a dozen inexpensive to world class golf courses within a 30 minute drive. Shopping abounds in Petoskey's gas light district, downtown Harbor Springs and Mackinaw City.

If you are looking for a great day trip it is only a short ride to the ferries that will take you to Mackinac Island or the Mackinac Bridge to the upper peninsula.

Great area and great cottage. Enjoyed the neighbors and the chipmunks. The dock was a great place for sunning and the lake is awesome for skiing and tubing. Would definitely rent this place again. New appliances and everything was clean.

We just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your Burt Lake cottage. The accommodations were wonderful and we really enjoyed the other renters and summer residents. We really liked the 2 baths and high speed internet. We will consider renting it again if we decide to visit the area. Thank you.
