St. Teresa is ideal for surfers and wildlife enthusiasts as well of those looking for total relaxation. Casa Mango sits on a hill at the north end of St. Teresa. This newly built villa has amazing views of the ocean from every room! And, you get the best of all worlds: a THREE MINUTE WALK TO BEACH!!!!! in a more quiet section of town, yet still close to great restaurants/bars. Imagine drinking your morning coffee (Costa Rican of course!) from any one of the terraces, while watching the capuchin monkeys pick mangoes for their breakfast – have some yourself too, there’s a grove on the property! End a great day by watching the most incredible sunset right at the house.

Nearest Airport: Tambor at 20 Miles
Nearest Ferry: Puntarenas/Pacquera at 45 Miles
Nearest Beach: beach at 100 Metres
St. Teresa is part of the Mal Pais area and is 40 Minutes from Tambor Airstrip. Transportation options to St. Teresa from San Jose: 1.) A 30 min flight from San Jose to Tambor (via Sansa), then a 40 min taxi ride. You can also rent a car once you get to Tambor instead of hiring a taxi – Budget & Alamo have offices. 2.) A 5.5 hour drive/ferry (the ferry is really fun!) either in a rental SUV or let someone else do the driving for $40/pp each way. 3.) If you’re adventurous and travel light, you can go to Jaco, stay overnight and take a taxi boat from Playa Heradura to Montezuma – they drop you off on the beach – way cool, then hop in a taxi or rent a car once you get to the peninsula.
