When my husband arrived at the villa, our jaws literally dropped and we needed a few minutes to take it all in. The housekeeper was there waiting for us, which was great. The villa is quite large but also quaint, and the view from where the villa sits will take your breath away. We spent hours just sitting on the balcony..
The location is excellent - less than a five minute walk to the center of town, but on a quiet street away from the crowds. We liked escaping to this beautiful house every day instead of a hotel room. There are also a couple of bakeries, a market, and a travel agency (for excursions) within a very short walk.
The villa was very clean and well-maintained. The bed was not the most comfortable, but it really didn't matter. I don't know if we'll ever be able to top this place.
