I recommend 100% this one bedroom apartment. It has been recently renovated and was very clean. We particularly appreciated the decoration and space.
The bedroom was very romantic and the living room very cosy.

The location was absolutely ideal as it was in the centre of Paris, close to chops, restaurants and supermarkets to go and grab some food!it is also very simple to go to the organic food market, two steps from the apartment, a nice place to see

For a first time in paris, I was nicely surprised by the wonderful welcoming of the owner simply adorable...

Everything was perfect for us and I hope to come back soon

Great location, some minor complaints

This apartment has a great location in the Marais-it's a 10 minute walk to Place des Vosges. We walked everywhere, only using the subway at the end of the day when our feet couldn't take us any further. We ate a nice, Michelin-recommended meal at Cafe des Musees down the street. It was packed with locals and very lively. The apartment has a clothes washer which we appreciated. It was clean and comfortable-having a small living room to relax in was nice. The kitchen and bathroom are compact, but fine for a short stay. Some of the furniture is wobbly and needs attention-including the bed, stools and the dining table (which in the end we didn't even use as we ate out all 3 nights of our stay.) Also, we could not get the satellite tv to work, so an instruction booklet would have been helpful. We were not provided enough bath towels but we made do. If these minor complaints are attended to, you will be happy here. **Note that the apartment is on the 4th floor and there is no elevator!

For small inconvenience you've had, we're sorry. the foot of the bed just needed to be screwed, and we changed the table dining room, if you just called us, we would arrange it all in the day.

We enjoyed this apartment in the Marais...it was as pictured and as described. Everything was close by and it was enjoyable to walk through the fashion district en route to the sights of Paris. We purchased breakfast supplies and it was great to save a bit of money and not eat pastry for breakfast...well maybe one day we did! Lots of restaurants and a good boulangerie...enjoyed opening the windows wide and just watching the goings on of the area below...our only complaint would be we would have liked a couple extra towels. Would recommend this apartment for an authentic feeling of Paris life. Thank you Eric, B and G

Charming Marais Apt with Rooftop Views

We spent 5 days in this well-located and perfectly appointed apartment, and loved it so much that we are returning next year. Details: there are 64 steps up a winding staircase to this 4th floor apartment in a building that probably dates to the early 1800s. The apartment is on a corner of the building, so each room is filled with daylight and has a great roof top view. The décor is charming, with original pine floors and an eclectic mix of antiques and modern furniture. There is a wonderful variety of typical Marais district food stores and restaurants within 2 blocks, as well as a well-stocked supermarket. There are 3 metro stations (giving access to 5 metro lines) within a 2 block walk. The owners supply everything needed for a perfect stay… we were easily able to assemble a simple dinner in the small, but very complete kitchen, which even has a small dishwasher. All of the necessities work well: wireless internet, TV, clothes washer, shower, etc.

Tourist Visit - 4 Wonderful Days

The apartment is adorable! While the one we got was not what was pictured on the rental page, it is very similar and of the same decor theme.

The entrance to the building looks a bit sketchy but you climb up 4 flights (pack light! although the owners carried my bag up - so nice!) and open the door to a great little spot! Having a dining area, living room and bedroom was perfect to stretch out a bit. The noise wasn't bad for being in a city with the windows open (it was summer and HOT) and you are in a GREAT district. Almost everything is easily reachable by the two subway lines within walking distance and you can even walk to closer things like Notre Dame and a few others.

It was great to be in Paris and not in a tourist section so we really felt like we were able to live as a Parisian for a short time.

The kitchen is tiny and has the smallest little dishwasher (by American standards) but it totally worked and suited our needs exactly.

The bed was comfy, water pressure was great, plenty of hot water and everything we needed for snacks and small meals was in the kitchen.

We loved the trip and everyone is jealous of our pictures! I would recommend staying here.
