Island is rustic and beautiful...driving through the woods and the road just opens up to incredible water views. Deer, turtles and other wildlife. Trails and bike paths all over. Home is so cozy, well kept and clean. Deck and grill are perfect. Yard and views are amazing. Stayed with our 2 kids, 14 and 12, and our dog. They all loved running down the steps and jumping in the water first thing in the morning! Used our kayak all week in the bay. Found random fun beaches on the island to visit each day! Nick's seafood will take lobster/clam orders paid w/cc by phone and deliver to you on the ferry - really reasonable and so good! Spent a night in Bristol and ate at Quito's - took the water taxi back...expensive, but so worth it. Find the self-serve veggie stand - best zuchini muffins and bbq sauce! Futon is a double, we brought an air matress and it was perfect. Outside shower was cool. Bring all your food/drinks with, store at ferry was open, but is expensive. Overall, for the price and the location, you could not ask for a better vacation!
