Private Waterfront Cottage on Narragansett Bay

We had a great time at the Cottage. The only downside of the cottage was a lightly stocked kitchen there were hardly any useable knives and only 1 wine glass, also need to have Lobster pots and some larger saute pans also the TV in the bedroom was not working. But otherwise the place was great our dog Bailey loved the backyard and we all enjoyed the walks on sandy beach. We also loved the views from the backyard and enjoyed the firepit. I fished just down the road at a cement pier and caught lots of scup and small bluefish, I clammed at dead low tide over on sandy beach where jennys creek empties into the bay scraped up lots of littlenecks and top neck clams and boy were they great you will need to bring your own clam rake and bucket though as the cottage has neither. There were lots of wild apple and pear trees and the fruit was amazing also the island provides some of the best views and the water quality is great. You can fish off the old navy pier and i'm sure in October the Blackfishing (tautog) and Striper fishing is great, Also you can get all the bait you need on the island at low tide just turn over some rocks and there are loads of small green crabs that are Tog candy plus the large chowder clams can be dug in any shollow bay. We would go back there again. Gave 4 stars only because of the Kitchen stated above.
