4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, sleeps 9

30 feet from Big Blue Lake's waters' edge, 2007 built log cabin construction, 2 bedrooms 1st floor, 2 bedrooms upstairs, hardwood floors, rustic knotty pine interior, modern amenities. 71 feet water front. Comfy, quiet place to read, swim, or watch the nesting eagles. Located near Russel Rd and Owasippe in BlueLake Township. Master bedroom (queen bed) with separate bath, 2nd 1st floor bedroom (full bed) and laundry room with separate bath/shower on the first floor, 2 bedrooms upstairs (one has a queen with a futon couch, other has 2 twins and a single roll out overstuffed chair) common upstairs full bath. Total of 3 full baths, sleeps no more than MAX OF 9 people. Outside 'Timber Tech' deck is 12' x 40', two deck patio tables with 8 chairs. Only 3 steps down to a sandy beach front to the water's edge. The shoreline has clear water, sandy bottom, shallow area out to 4 feet deep at 60 feet out to end of dock, public boat ramp available across the lake

Note Location : Note: this cabin is located on Blue Lake in Bluelake Township, Holton; Stoneylake/lake Michigan is 20 miles away, Fremont 15 miles, Muskegon 15 miles........no internet cable service, cell phone coverage is 'OK' - not great, water toys include a 14' row boat w/ paddles, 2-person kayak, and paddle boat, inner tubes.....Great place to 'get away' from the hustle & bustle of the city. Nesting eagles across the lake, occaisional swans, turkeys, and Canadian geese fly by. On rainy days enjoy our DVD collection, also Direct TV hook up. 15 minutes to the closest Meiers or Walmart. Also 15 minutes from White Lake & Michigan Lake........

Notes: Flat lot, 3 steps down to sandy beach front, enjoy the beautiful sunsets or watching one of our DVDs from our DVD library on a 42 inch flat screen TV (sorry no cable available in this area), exercise with a 2-man kayak, paddle boat, or row boat, Foosball table upstairs. Master has a queen bed with its own double sink and walk in shower, sliding door to the deck. 2nd bedroom is downstairs, has a 'full' size bed, adjacent to a laundry & bath with shower, also has its own slider to the deck; 3rd bedroom upstairs has a queen size bed and a futon couch, 4th bedroom has 2 individual twin beds and a single overstuffed chair which converts to a single twin 3rd & 4th bedroom share a common full bathroom with tub/shower combo. The downstairs laundry room has a full bath with a shower.

We rented the home for the Memorial Day weekend. It worked out very well for our family of 5 and 4 grandparents. Everything was pretty much as described on the website. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. We would not hesitate to return.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
