Charming 3 Bed 1 Bath cottage located right on Falmouth Inner Harbor. This 3 Bedroom cottage was completely renovated last year. The main room of the house is the living room with the kitchen off to the side. The living room has plenty of seats with a large couch and chairs. There's cable tv if you're tired of watching the harbor from the living room. The main bedroom has a king bed, the second bedroom has a full bed, and the third bedroom is two singles (or can be changed to a double). The bathroom has a shower only. The cottage is equipped with a cooking range, refrigerator, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, utensils, pots/pans, glassware, dishes, linens, cable television, portable fans, gas grill, and lawn furniture. We rented for a week in the middle of August, 2009. The location was great, an easy 5 minute walk to the beach. There was a little ice cream shop right around the corner that also had a nice little lunch and dinner menu. The week was the hottest of the summer and the cottage was advertised as having room fans only(no AC).
But to our pleasant surprise the very accommodating owner had just installed air conditioners in each of the three bedrooms. We needed them!! A seemingly constant summer breeze blows up Deacons Ave from the ocean. The property was clean and well maintained. Our security deposit was returned to us within several days of our vacating the property. An overall good experience and highly recommended.
