The location is the best ... 100 paces from the lift (I counted them.) Heather and Bruce were wonderful hosts in the finer sense of that term, forget the gray functionaries at chain hotels who call themselves that. Small touches like scrumptious cookies after a day's skiing put smiles on our faces, and big things like comfortable rooms, a fantastic breakfast with cook-to-order menu items, and amazing responsiveness in fixing an electric fixture that went balky, all delighted us. Honestly, I don't think one could do better than to stay here.
We'd been wary, knowing that the inn had changed ownership and management since our last visit to Telluride. If there were any transitional problems, I enthusiastically pronounce them fully cured. Everything was superduper and we will return!
