Exactly what we were looking for.

We just got back from our best trip to Kauai yet and Wainiha Palms was a big part of it. The home has great character and is perfect for a relaxing vacation. Surrounded by lush vegetation, this north shore home provides a perfect private stay and is a short ride to Hanalei Bay. Wainiha is one of our favorite place on the island.
The giant, new well stocked kitchen, very spacious bedrooms with a lot of windows for night time breezes and Kauai rooster listening.
Only cons - it is very near the river and after rainfall there are mosquitoes but the screened in Lanai provides a god place to get away(and it is the tropics). Could also provide more beach accessories. There were chairs but none of the sand toys and boards we have grown accustomed to. Gas grill was in poor shape and was not very usable.
We would definitely consider this property again.
