Bay view three bedroom penthouse in historic district overlooks Manteo Harbor

We are just returning from our super vacation in Manteo! The condomium was fabulous for the price!! We have been coming to the beach for many years and deciding to rent a condo to "keep it simple" really worked out. Your home is wonderful and my teenage boys had so much fun going "downstairs and into town" to buy ice cream, window shop and just be kids on the docks. They also crabbed, fished and took boat rides without us ever having to drive anywhere. Driving to the beach, which is only about ten minutes away, worked out too. The condo layout and amenities worked beautifully with the separate master bedroom/bath WITH TV for parents to have some quiet time. We especially loved looking out over the yachts and enjoying the sound front water activities.

This condo on the marina was more than we expected from viewing the web photos. It is large, well furnished, has one of the best supplied kitchens, and is as quite as they come. With the parking garage and elevator, it is easily on the "coming and goings" of a busy vacation week of traveling off the island, as well as, moving in and out of. There are so many wonderful and beautiful sights to behold within walking distannce that a person could almost not need to move a vehicle for most of the stay. Probably the best feature of this rental is it's location on the third floor, overlooking the marina, bay, sound, Festival Park, and the boardwalk. The sunrises are fabulous and there is always something happening on the land, on the sea, and even in the air that is worth a photograph or a long look with the binoculars. The neighbors were great (but not bothersome at all) and the unit was very, very, clean. If there was a quilt top, king sized bed in the master bedroom, I don't believe I would ever want to leave.
