Town of Duck/Carolina Dunes:
The Town of Duck is noted for its many shops, restaurants, and boutiques. Even the most 'experienced' shoppers will find unique items...plus, the southern warmth and hospitality of the shopkeepers makes it even more fun!
The new 11- acre town park is great. Amenities include a soundside boardwalk, picnic shelter, playground, gazebo, and walking trails. The town sponsors a free music series on the Town Green on Tuesday and Thursday evenings during the summer season.
The Duck Trail, a seven-mile long multi-use path, serves pedestrians, bicyclists, and in-line skaters. The path runs along Duck Road right into the heart of the village. You'll pick up the path at the foot of Wood Duck Drive.
Carolina Dunes is a 'sound-to-sea' community...with its own private sound-side beach just a half-block north of Wood Duck Drive.
