Luxury Furnished 2 bedroom/2.5 bath condo in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. Hardwood Floors, Concrete Countertops, French Limestone in Bathrooms.
Walk to all downtown attractions - Conseco Fieldhouse, Lucas Oil Stadium, Victory Field, Circle Center Mall, Convention Center. Short drive to Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Very Private.
Nice amenities. Centrally located. Helpful owner. Highly recommended. We stayed for 30 days and will be back!
What a tremendous location and great accommodations. Everything (except Raceway and Grocery) were easy walking distance. Fodo De' Chao Steakhouse which is across the street was awesome. Repeat awesome! I have traveled to Indy before, and each time St. Elmo's, Sullivan's and Morton's calls my name. We're so glad we made the off-the-board choice.
We decided not to rent a car, and it was the right move. Cab from the Airport was $30.00 'ish, and I suggest getting a business card from the driver. Any time we called on him, he or his company, was there in 3-5 minutes.
If you plan on cooking, bring your own spices, everything else is provided.
Great condo with Great amenities. Could go on...you get the idea.
Wonderful, easy walk To Convention Center, lots of fun restaurants close by. Bonus a pizza restaurant right under loft.
Overall we found the apartment perfectly suitable for our needs.
The good - Plenty of space to move around and the facilities were very good. The coffee and Square Donuts shop below the apartment was excellent too.
The bad - The decor is a bit tired. Specifically the locks on the bathrooms need replaced (they don't work); a wall mounted coat hanger is ill fitted and actually results in the wood panel on the wall coming loose. Lastly there was the smell. It's a chemical smell that none of us could actually place but it was strong for most of our visit. It was quite off putting at first but either we got used to it or it diminished over time and became more bearable.
Other feedback - I would liked to have had some sort of "local guide" booklet in the apartment as well as some "housekeeping" details like when the bins/trash should be emptied; what the phone number of the apartment was should we need to use it.
I am giving this 4 out of 5 stars because the negatives really didn't impact on our stay (smell aside). Would I stay here again? Yes but it would be good to have the "bad" sorted out...
This condo is in an excellent location. However, the description did not mention that there is a set of stairs you must climb to get to the first floor. The stairway has no railing and is very dangerous. Neither of the showers drained properly. The smell from the first floor shower was very unpleasant. The kitchen supplies were ancient. The bath towels in both bathrooms were scarce and of very low quality. If the owner attends to the maintenance issues of the property, I would recommend it with the caveat that not everyone could make it up and down all those stairs.
This place was perfect for downtown activities. It is centrally located to many resturants and bars. The only down side is the parking. You have to pay to park in a garage. It cost about $30 for the weekend. The place was clean and quiet.
