Marco Island:: Marco Island is located on the Gulf of Mexico and is the largest of Southwest Florida's 10,000 Islands. The island is six miles long and four miles wide and is graced with miles of white-sand beaches, beautiful year-round weather, fine shopping and dining, lively entertainment, and plenty of recreational activities such as boating, fishing, golf and tennis. The attraction to the Island is the spectacular sunsets, white sandy beaches, and tropical island ambiance.

Off Island Activities:: Numerous golf courses including those of Championship caliber are only minutes away. Naples is a short 20 minute drive with spectacular shopping and dining. Deep Fishing Charters are readily available as well as backwater fishing expeditions. Everglades expeditions are a welcome diversion for many. When children tire of the beach, the Naples Zoo is a must see attraction! Fort Lauderdale and the Everglades are just a short drive away.

My family of four, including two teens, thoroughly enjoyed our beautiful, comfortable beachfront villa vacation. Beautiful sunsets, great beach and walking distance to many shops and restaurants. And, the weather was perfect!
