We had the time of our life here! What a great way to spend your honeymoon. We immediately fell in love with the coziness of the cabin. The weather and fall colors are amazing! Thank you so much for making this special time in our life so memorable!
My friends and I had a wonderful time staying at the Blue Moon Cabin. Karen was very considerate and helpful in getting us everything we needed. The cabin itself was wonderful! Everything was clean and ready to go upon our arrival. The beds were comfy, Central heat and Gas heater were both really nice as well. The hot tub was clean and so wonderful to sit in at night. The sunset off of the front porch was really fantastic as well. We had a great time hiking and relaxing. I would absolutely recommend this to family and friends. I will definitely be back soon!
My husband suggested a weekend getaway for our birthdays and wanted to do something involving a cabin. I was recommended to VRBO.com by a friend who had used it before and started looking for our destination area of Luray, VA. Karen was wonderful to deal with and answered all the questions I had. I absolutely loved the coziness and cleanliness of the Blue Moon cabin (and I'll admit I'm picky about where I stay due to allergies) and the fact that we were close to things but not too close. The hot tub was great to relax in after a long day of walking. I highly recommend staying here!!
This was our first visit to Luray in the Shenandoah Valley. The cabin was very clean, located a short walk down the street to the River Outfitters where we rafted (canoeing, tubing and kayaking also available). This was a very peaceful and quiet getaway with a 15 minute drive to the Luray caverns and a short drive to the skyline drive. After a long day, a soak in the hot tub was perfect. This place is great for families with children or couples looking just to wind down and get away from the rat race. I highly recommend this vacation cabin. Will definitely keep in mind for future.
We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. It was clean and cozy, but plenty of room for the three of us. It was close enough to everything we wanted to see that it made an excellent base. I didn't think we'd use the hot tub, but we did every night. I loved that we could bring our dog. We are planning a return trip soon.
My experience from beginning to end was fantastic! Booking was super easy, Karen was so prompt in getting me my receipt and booking information and I knew she was only a call away if I needed anything. We had no trouble finding it because she provided directions, and it was absolutely beautiful on the inside. It totally felt like home, we were able to relax and enjoy our time there. Everything was very clean and fresh, she even had the basics there for us. And my absolute favorite part was the hot tub on the porch! :) I also really liked that there were resources for places to go and eat within arms reach because we were not familiar with the area at all but the pizza place the delivers was yummy and we loved Luray Caverns, the Garden Maze, and the Luray Rescue Zoo. My husband and I loved the time that we spent there and definitely plan to go again and want to branch out to doing some of the water sports on the Shenandoah.
My husband, two children and I stayed at the cabin for 3 nights in April. The cabin is very clean, comfortable, and well stocked w/appliances and the comforts of home. There are several small towns very convenient to this location. The hot tub is private and clean/maintained. We enjoyed this stay and would recommend it to others. Our bedlington terrier enjoyed romping through the woods and poking his nose in the stream bed at the bottom of the property (which backs to the national park). The property is not completely secluded, there are neighboring homes, but this does not detract from the experience. Highlights: Luray Caverns, local wineries, firepits and smores in the yard, skyline drive
