This beautiful two-story villa, which was constructed in 2004, sits on a lush one+ acre in Treasure Beach, Jamaica. The villa is comprised of six spacious bedrooms with four full baths, a fully equipped kitchen on each floor, expansive living & dining areas, and large wrap around porches/verandas. Verandas/porches provide excellent ocean views of the Caribbean Sea as well as magnificent sunset vistas.
Guests can enjoy the lovely 32 foot freshwater private pool with patio & cabana on the property and there are beautiful nearby private beaches for swimming within walking distance. The main local town of Treasure Beach, which offers many wonderful dining experiences as well as a large public beach, is a fifteen minute bike ride to the west. The longest beach in Jamaica is located just a 15 minute bike ride to the east. Ideal for families, couples and groups, Sandy Rose Villa is a great place to enjoy Jamaica's laid back SW coastal area.
The villa comes with a cook and housekeeper. Ena and Nadeen will prepare delicious authentic Jamaican cuisine. Howard, our caretaker, can arrange local boat trips.
Our family had a wonderful time in Jamaica! Ena was awesome....It was a memorable vacation....the house...the food....the pool....the beach....everything was perfect! Thank you so much....Monique L
We stayed at this villa for a week in July and had the most amazing holiday. Ena, Nadine and Howard (the staff) were truly fantastic. Ena and Nadine provided some of the best meals we have ever tasted and Howard made sure our 15 year old son felt at home, by inviting us all to a local cricket match and inviting our son to play football with the local village team. All of the locals were so friendly we truly felt at home. The villa itself is well kitted out with everything you need and the owner, Adaria, was absolutely fantastic with regular contact throughout and answering my many and varied questions prior to our arrival. The villa is off the beaten track and it would have been a good idea for us to hire a car rather than rely on the local taxi company, which turned out to be more expensive than we expected. However, now we have experienced a Jamaican holiday, would definitely return to this villa in the future (with a hire car!) and can highly recommend a stay here. If you want to experience local culture and immerse into local life, Treasure Beach is the place for you. The endless beaches are almost deserted and there are hardly any other tourists, which we loved.
we stayed my wife and two teenage boys this feb 2011. the location is magnificent, the staff was beyond friendly,in fact we still get calls from one of the girls, helped us in all ways.i ran out of money and told the owner i would have to send her a check from home, absolutle no problem.i nwould stay again in a heartbeat
My family and I had such a wonderful time at Sandy Rose Villa. The house and the grounds are so beautiful. We loved the pool and the private beach across the lane. This area of Jamaica (Treasure Beach) is so quiet and relaxing - There are good restaurants and bars in town - especially Jack Sprat and Jakes, great little shops and stores, and many other nice beaches within a few minutes car ride. We can't say enough about the staff (Ena and Howard) who are so helpful and Ena cooks some of the best food we've ever tasted. We will be back soon.
Our stay at Sandy Rose was wonderful! Miss Ena, Nadine, Kamar and Bunny treated us like extended family. The meals were amazing! Nadine is a wonderful cook. Her boiled green banana salad and ripe banana pancakes are definate musts! Miss Ena's husband is a fisherman so we had the freshest fish and Bunny isn't too bad with a speargun. He caught some amazing lobsters for us.
We had a very relaxing time. Enjoying the natural beauty of the area and going for daily swims in the pool.
Our group consistent of myself, my husband our two kids (2mos and 18mos) my cousin and her husband and my mother-in-law and her husband. The ladies kept the house spic and span and make amazing meals. Nadine was so great with our little girl (2mos). We really appreciated all her help.
During our stay there were 2 tropical storms that left us without power . The ladies were great and tried to make us as comfortable as possible. A backup generator would have been good. But this is one of the risks you take when you travel during hurricane season (July-Oct.
Sandy Rose Villa, an absolute piece of heaven!! This villa is beautiful, comfortable and welcoming!!! The villa is clean and the grounds are well cared for! The staff, Miss Ena, Nadine,Camar, and Christopher are second to none!! With the help of the staff we were able to enjoy fresh from the market, fruit and vegetables! The staff are happy to take you to the markets to make things a little easier...lol! Miss Ena cooks up wonderful local meals, her banana pancakes are delicious, not to mention her jerk pork and curried goat!!!
The pool is so refreshing on those hot afternoons, along with the poolside cabanna for shade, and Christopher keeps the pool sooo clean and clear, no smell of chlorine there!!!!! Lots and lots of beautiful trees, cactus, and flowering shrubs cover the grounds, all thanks to Christopher's hard work! The beach across the path is magnificent, with breathtaking sunsets!!!
Our tour guide and driver, Kenny, was amazing, he took us wherever we wanted to go,he was an instrumental part of our experience!! He was always prompt, courteous, and very professional, he is an asset to Treasure Tours! He works very hard, navigating those roads...haha, with the patience of a saint! We hope he is appreciated!
We enjoyed our visit to the Appleton Rum Factory, also YS Waterfalls is a treat, we had fun doing the zip-line and swimming in the cool crystal waters of the falls...beautiful!!! We had the privilege of going to a streetdance, which we really enjoyed, so cool to be able to party with the locals!
I could go on and on about our stay at the Sandy Rose Villa, to say the least it was more then we could have hoped for! We've made new friends for life, and cannot wait to return to the wonderful people of Treasure Beach and the comforts of the Sandy Rose Villa!!! Till we meet again...
xoxo One Love
