Start every morning on the porch enjoying coffee or tea while the birds celebrate. After breakfasting at the picnic table, enjoy fishing or swimming in the pond. Later in the day, ride your bicycle or take the car to the bay beach or ocean beach. The South Wellfleet General Store, a few minutes away, makes hearty and healthy sandwiches for lunch. Returning to the cottage on the pond, the hammock awaits you after you shed the sand in the outdoor shower. Enjoy cooking fresh fish and corn for dinner or indulge at the many local restaurants in nearby Wellfleet or Eastham. Ben and Jerry's ice cream, four lighthouses, Cape Cod National Seashore Visitor's Center, Fort Hill walking trail along the beach, cranberry bogs, the Eastham Windmill, the drive-in movie theatre..all available for you to experience and enjoy at our delight-filled refuge.

Nearest Beach: beach at 2.0 Miles
This serene 3 bedroom pond front cape cottage is located minutes from the Nauset Lighthouse and the Cape Cod National Seashore Visitor's Center. Eastham’s ocean and bay beaches are a hop, skip and a jump away. The Cape Cod Rail Trail, a 28 mile long paved bikeway which runs from South Dennis to Wellfleet, can be accessed about 1/4 mile from the cottage. The trail offers the most variety of scenery and natural cape landscapes of all the regional bike routes. We are also equally close to the Nauset Marsh Bike Trail, a 1.5 mile trail that ends at Coast Guard Beach and which provides a panoramic vista of the Atlantic Ocean. The casual Arnold’s Restaurant is a short stroll from the cottage. It is considered by some to be the best clam shack on Cape Cod (it is also known for its gourmet ice cream cones)
