We were very pleased with this rental property. It was clean and well equipped and the children absolutely loved the pool. We paid to heat it and it was so warm just like a bath! The property is pretty new with all we needed and both me and my husband were impressed.
The only thing lacking was that there was no welcome pack of any sort with directions or resturant recommendations.
Encantada IS very close to Disney BUT you do need to enter the Disney complex from its west entrance. This is via the 429 toll road (costs $1) and not the entrance much further east along the 192. The entrance via the 429 is not sign posted from the 192 but if you consult a local map you will see what I mean. Once we found this entrance it really was a breeze to get to Disney.
The resort itself was quite quiet when we went (first 2 weeks in March '09) and was very well maintained. The only thing I would say is that the communal pool area could have done with a bit of a sweep, but it was fine and one of the pools was heated and very pleasant with zero entry which is great for the little ones.
If I were to return to Orlando I would definitely rent this property again and recommend it to others.
