PEACEFUL

Great vacation spot! We went late march, perfect time of the year. Warm enough, cool enough, no bugs. Drove all over the place, ntl parks, waterfalls, brasstown bold, etc. Cabin is awesome. Had the fireplace going every night, plenty of firewood handy, cooking ware and ammenities all present. Barely watched t.v., just for news and weather update for day. Received pretty good wifi connectivity on laptop, enough to do some further internet browsing research on the surrounding areas. Recommend folks planning on vacationing to bring a GPS garmin or similar. We don't have one, but borrowed a friend's and it proved to be very helpful at times.
For 5 nights, we didn't run out of things to do or places to eat. One of the nights, we ate at the new Cucina Rustica. Delicious! Worth the price. The only "fine-dining" per se in the area. It was a special night for us after I proposed at Unicoi Lake.
Rosenfeld's were an ease to deal with, very respectful and communicative. No problems whatsoever. I've passed along good mentions to all of our friends in Jacksonville, FL.
All in all, my fiance was skeptical about the whole "log cabin" debut, but because of the Rosenfeld's cabin AND location on lake Blue Ridge, this has been our best vacation, peaceful, relaxing, very quiet, good food, adventureous and fun in nature.
Thank you for letting us stay at Jen's Place.
