My family and I just returned from a fantastic week in Gatlinburg. The past 5 years my husband and I have taken the trip by ourselves. This year we decided to take our 4 year old and 7 year old. I wish there were words to describe this cabin. It is by far the best cabin we have ever seen in Gatlinburg. Driving up the mountain we thought, "Oh, that's a nice one, maybe it's ours, no." Then looking way up and dreaming saying look at THAT one!!! We continued to drive and realized "THAT ONE" was our cabin!!! We were amazed when we entered. There is so much room. It has the most fantastic views. The cabin's name is perfect...meditation point. We would wake up and sit in the rockers anticipating the sunrise. At just that right moment it would pop over the mountain. We knew God was giving us each beautiful day and were so blessed to see the sun rise each morning. The handmade stained glass windows are beautiful. The busy days of, "Hurry up, kids" just seemed to melt away. We were truly just able to enjoy one another and each precious day. The memories we made are ones that will last a lifetime. Stephen is one of the nicest people in the world and so accomodating. Must dos while at the cabin are driving through Cade's Cove, eating at Smoky Mountain Brewery (1/2 price pizza on Tuesdays:-), and snow tubing at Ober Gatlinburg.
