S Turns is part of the Watermen's Retreat Resort and managed by property management company Flying R - Watermen's Retreat.

S Turns features teak floors, tile bathrooms, carpeted bedrooms and a full modern award-winning kitchen with an s-bend granite cocktail bar. The living room features leather furniture, a flat screen TV, cable and Apple TV. Space to entertain includes a dining room table with seating for 6 and bar seating for 4. The primary bedroom has a private full bathroom, walk-in tile shower and walk-in closet. The second bedroom features a king bed while the third has a queen bed. Each bedroom has a flat screen TV with cable. The shared full bath has a bathtub shower combo. The living area and primary bedroom provide access to the east facing deck with water views. The bedrooms provide access to a water view balcony.

S Turns does not have the direct waterfront views of our waterfront suites but does offer enough water views to soothe the soul and keep you in touch with the conditions to hit the water when it’s peaking.

Guests of Watermen’s Retreat get kite launching and landing access at REAL Watersports and 10% off at the REAL Watersports Rental Shop.

Additional amenities include Wi-Fi internet access, an in-suite washer and dryer, base level secure gear storage, covered parking, an elevator and quick access to REAL Watersports and Watermen’s Bar and Grill. All Watermen’s Retreat properties include bed linens, made beds upon arrival, bathroom towels, drip style coffee maker, coffee filters, salt & pepper, dishwasher soap tabs, dish soap, sponge and kitchen towels.

Our three-bedroom water view suites are named after two of the heaviest and most famous surfing locations on the Outer Banks: “S-Turns” and “The Lighthouse”.
