Photos and Description of the Boscobel vacation farmhouse rental 4 bedrooms, 1full bath and a 3/4 bath, full kitchen, sleeps 8.

Located on a class 1 trout stream and four miles from the Wisconsin River. Large four bedroom home nestled in the hills of Southwest Wisconsin. There are 150, primarily wooded acres, for hiking and hunting. We have 11 laying hens which means fresh eggs for your breakfast!! Additionally, we have a barn available....if you would like to bring your horse and ride, feel free!! Feel free to call if you have questions!

Located on Richland Creek, and 4 miles from the Wisconsin River. We are six miles north of Boscobel, Wisconsin, which is the 'Wild Turkey Hunting Capital'. Boscobel is located right on the Wisconsin River. Prairie du Chien, WI and the Mississippi River are only 30 minutes away. We are also fifteen miles from the Gays Mills Apple Orchards. Boscobel does have a nice airport if you would like to fly in with your own plane!

Our property is nestled in the hills of the driftless area of southwest Wisconsin. It is exceptionally scenic year round. For activities, there are a couple of public golf courses within easy driving distance. There is a beautiful municipal pool in Boscobel, located in a large park with tennis courts also. The Wisconsin River is a great place to fish, canoe, and kayak. There is a canoe/kayak rental business located right in Boscobel. Richland Creek, which joins our property, is a wonderful trout stream. The Historic Boscobel Hotel is the birthplace of the Gideon Bible! Boscobel offers a variety of dining experiences, as well as a movie theater. Boscobel hosts a Civil War reenactment annually, the first weekend in August.

Currently our property is rented. It will be available in April. Interior pictures will be available once the current renter moves out.

Amazing.......

What a joy to stay in this amazing farmhouse. It was easy to find, thanks to the great directions. The house was updated and had everything we needed to make our visit comfortable and enjoyable. The house was clean and sparkled with a "Welcome Home" feeling. It was such a joy to sit out on the large porch with the morning coffee and listen to the peace around us. Our visit was much too short to enjoy the beautiful walking paths that were available, but we are already planning ahead to make reservations for the next time.

Gorgeous Scenery and very comfortable farm house

This farm house was absolutely gorgeous! It was very clean and functional to our every need. It is on a great plot of land too. There are hiking trails up into the hills, and just down the road was a nice creek to go fishing in. There was wildlife everywhere. The owner has chickens, and we saw turkeys and deer too. We'll definitely be back and we recommend it to anyone who wants to get away.
