Charming Cottage, 1 Bath, Sleeps 2

Beautiful newly built cottage with spectacular never before seen views of Oahu's tallest mountain (Mt. Kaala). We are located near Waialua's sugar mill, one mile from the beach and about 1.75 miles from the famous Surf Haleiwa town, where you'll find shopping and dining options. We are approximately 30 minutes from Honolulu airport, and 40 minutes from Honolulu. If you love the outdoors, and all it has to offer, this is the spot for you.

The setting is quaint and quiet with the charm of a traditional plantation neighborhood. Your view is of the fields and mountain range beholden to Oahu's tallest peak. It is a rejuvenating spot.

Great location to enjoy all the North Shore has to offer, while at the same time easy access to Honolulu (40 minutes away).

Set back against the mountains, we are located in a very quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Waialua is home to the unique sugar mill (just down the road) and neighbors historic Haleiwa town. Dillingham Airfield (sky diving, hang gliding, etc) is 5 miles down the road, and a bit further will lead you to Ka'ena Point, a protected bird sanctuary with a fantastic hiking trail along the water's edge. If you love the outdoors and are looking for a quiet retreat, this is an excellent place to be.

Quiet, relaxing, clean, and fun.

I stayed a few weeks at the cottage and had the time of my life. Waialua is full of exciting outdoor activities, which kept me busy during my visit. The cottage was perfect for me and ideal for two people. The bed comfortable, updated fixtures, nice grill, and even high-speed internet. The owners were exceedingly courteous and helpful. They always had suggestions for hiking/swimming and gave a great deal of useful advice. I still miss my "north shore escape"!

I had a wonderful stay at this cottage and think you will, too! I was welcomed with fresh, tropical flowers and everything that I could need, including aloe aftersun waiting in the fridge. The owners are very green conscious, and very warm and welcoming. Stay here!

Truly a Cozy Cottage!

Our trip was truly made all the better due to our WONDERFUL stay in the Cozy North Shore Cottage! It is in a wonderful safe neighborhood, and Laurel and John are the most wonderful hosts! They went out of their way to make sure we had everything that we needed, and even helped us out when we spilt coffee on the sheets! They were so gracious and willing to accommodate us at any means! They gave us great recommendations for food, fun and relaxation!

The cottage is exactly as it looks! We were worried about it being a studio, and possibly little on the small side, but it was absolutely perfect! The size and open layout of the cottage was just what we needed! It was very clean, and modern, the decor was very tasteful and easy going. It was a great place to come back to after a long day, and just relax. The outdoor patio was a wonderful place to enjoy coffee every morning and drinks in the evening, the view took our breath away every time! We felt very very safe due to the gates around the whole property and the wonderful secluded neighborhood.

All in all, we would stay at the Cozy North Shore Cottage again in a heartbeat, and we truly can not wait to return! Highly recommended!
Save the money and stay in town, a 5 min drive to the beach, and spend your money on some other fun luxurious activities. The view, safety, serenity, price, and service will make your Hawaiian getaway all the better!
