Here you will experience the most beautiful sunrises and changing colors of the bay every morning. The home comfortably accommodates 10 people in three bedrooms and bonus room, with king, queen, twin beds, queen hideaway and queen futon. This inviting home has large rooms,fully equipped open view kitchen with all appliances, washer,dryer, HDTV,Direct TV,DVD, radio/tape/CD player, board games and cards for entertainment as well. Lower level covered deck great for casual dining while sunbathing and swimming. Boat lift at deep water private dock.You can catch fish right from the dock!! Private Island Home: Home is situated on a 26 acre nature preserve private island located in Sarasota Bay at the south end of Anna Maria Island. Home is accessible by boat only and comes with a land base with free private parking for your cars located just 1 mile north of island .Your car is available to you 24/7 at no charge. The area offers many boater friendly restaurants awaiting your arrival by boat for a wonderful meal at the many local restaurants all within 1/8 mile by boat. A 20 foot pontoon boat is available for you to rent and use during your entire stay at Sea Shell Island Escape. Not a boater, have no fear, there are local water taxis available for a nominal fee to ferry you to your land destination by appointment .

Whats To Do in the Area?: You are within 1/8 mile of the Gulf of Mexico with miles of white sandy public beaches. Just take your boat over for a morning walk or take in a picture perfect gorgeous sunset . In addition, there is a 5 acre sandbar just a short walk from your home where you will find many people, pets, shells and sea life abound. Or take in a morning stroll on the private islands 1/2 mile trail along the nature preserve. When you are ready for a change, try shopping at the famous St. Armands Circle just 12 miles south on Longboat Key. On Longboat Key you will find a bicycle roadway that runs the length of the island with oceanfront views most of the way. Or shop on Anna Maria Island where you will find an eclectic mix of shops from antiquing to beach souvenirs and fine clothing. Public tennis courts and golf courses are nearby as well and available for your use.

Fantastic Waterfront Vacation

My family stayed here in October and we were quite impressed. Nearly every room has a waterview and the home is decorated light and airy. This is a waterfront home that is on a private island. We loved exploring the waters around the island and the guys had a ball catching stone crabs and fish right at the dock! We had fresh fish nearly every night or we went to one of the many boat accessible restaurants just a short boat ride from the home.

We will definetely be back! Thanks for making great memories for our family
